 We accept individual pieces and whole collections of militaria for consignment. Please understand that we will inspect each item as if we were purchasing them for our own private collections. Therefore we require full disclosure of any repairs, replacement of insignia, etc. to any piece. If we have any questions regarding authenticity or condition of a piece, we will send that piece to an specific artifact subject matter expert for their opinion. If we opt to do this, it will be at our cost. However, if the item is considered questionable, it will be returned to you at your expense and not offered as a consignment piece. This is a measure intended to help consignors take responsibility for the authenticity of their militaria. The Spoils of War will allow each consignor to choose the price of their consigned items for sale (within reason). However, a 20% consignment fee will be added to all items. Payment for consigned items will be mailed no later than 30 days after sale. |
